CBSE has launched an online teaching course for its teachers. This course is launched with the help of Tata Trust. Teachers can register for this course through MHRD’s DIKSHA app and it is completely free to register.
HRD minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweets to inform about this course: “Teachers, #DIKSHA can be your ultimate learning buddy! According to the HRD minister, through this experimental learning course, teachers will be able to gain new experiences. The board will make sure to help the teachers throughout this journey. Teachers of the Central Board of Secondary Education will be able to take help of the DIKSHA App for online teaching-learning experience. They will also be provided with a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
“With the objective to promote experiential learning pedagogy in schools, @cbseindia29 in association with @tatatrusts has come up with an #innovative & interactive online course on ‘Experiential Learning’ via #DIKSHA meant for Teachers and School Leaders.”, adds Dr Ramesh.
According to CBSE, MHRD minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank launched this app on July 1st, 2020. To register for the course, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to http://bit.ly/cbse-diksha and download the app.
Step 2: You sign-up using Google, email or phone number. After signing up, log in to the app and use the resources as per your needs.
Apart from that, for more queries, the ministry has provided with a helpdesk mail support@diksha-ncte.freshdesk.com where the teachers can contact and find solutions for their issues.
This initiative will not just help teachers teach online but will also revolutionize the field of digital education.
