The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for submitting applications of admission and re-registration for the July 2020 term until 31 August. Applicants who have not yet registered may apply at ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in for admissions and for re-registrations, they can apply at ignou.smarth.edu.in.
Due to the coronavirus disease outbreak, enrollment procedures for all of the colleges were postponed this year. In fact, board examinations and final-year reports have been postponed for most academic institutions that have an effect on the country-wide cycle of college entry.
To give students some comfort, IGNOU students are waiting for their final results can apply too. Such applicants will later have to reveal their report card after it is published and has to request an undertaking together with the application form in the meantime as well.
Those who have not applied for far can follow these steps –
Step 1: Visit the official website, ignou.ac.in
Step 2: Click on admissions
Step 3: Register using credentials
Step 4: Fill the form, make payment
Once the admittance application is filled online, the applicants will be able to track their admission progress. If they’te accepted, a notification will be sent on the mobile number and email ID registered with the system.
Students will be expected to pay a Rs 200 fee per form. There is no fee necessary for reserved category applicants for one subject, as per IGNOU but they will have to pay the fee from the second-course application onwards.
